Beitrags-Ansicht bei Suche

Hallo.

Ich bin neu hier und hab gerade erst mein WP-Blog gestartet.. Nun habe ich aber leider bereits mein erstes Problem. Ich habe mir das folgende Plug-In heruntergeladen:

Aktiviert, aber als ich meine Suche dann ausprobiert habe, hab ich gesehen, dass meine Suche folgends aufgebaut ist und nicht der Abschnitt mit dem Suchwort angezeigt wird:
Datum - Titel des Beitrags

Wie mache ich das, dass es richtig angezeigt wird? Kann leider nicht so gut englisch, google-translate bringt da nicht viel, hier der Ausschnitt:

It adds a filter in get_the_excerpt() function so no modification needs to be done to WordPress’ 1.5/2.x theme. For other themes, make sure during “the loop” in search.php, it calls the_excerpt() to display the post entries.

WIe ich verstehe, muss ich irgendwie the_excerpt() in mein Theme eintrgaen, aber wie mache ich des?

the_excerpt() war die Lösung.

Aber wie kann ich die Suchergebnisse nicht nach aktualität, sondern nach relevanz sortieren?

Hab jetzt mal gegoogelt unbd das Plug-In Search Reloaded gefunden. Was macht es, denn es schmeißt die Ergebnisse zwar irgendwie durcheinander, aber es sieht nicht so aus, dass sie dann nach relevanz sortiert sind.
