Autogallery

Ein Link zum Plugin wäre sehr hilfreich... und bitte immer die WP Version angeben. :wink:

Hast du die mitgelieferte readme.txt gelesen:

Settings in lines 16 - 19 (autogallery.php) Read and change before use!


Installation:


1. Upload to foo.bar/wp-content/plugins/
2. Activate in WordPress


Usage:


1. Drop Your images into 
	/[images-root]/[article-id]/


2. Insert "gallery" with  in Your article.


Files with "prefix" (-) is thumbnails and files widhout "prefix" is linked.


	Example:


	/[images-root]/[article-id]/ 
				150-picture_one.jpg
				picture_one.jpg

...hilft das?

Also ich habe das Plugin auch mal ausprobiert, funktioniert aber bei mir auch nicht. Der autogallery Quicktag scheint nicht geparst zu werden. Er findet sich aber auch nicht im HTML Quelltext wieder.

Auf der Homepage des Autors kommt man auch nicht so recht weiter, dort ist alles finnisch (oder irgendeine andere skandinavische Sprache, von denen ich aber keine verstehen kann).

Kennt jemand vielleicht ein ähnliches Plugin?

It's Norwegian. Not Finnish. I'm quite supriced that You can't see the difference.

Instead of complaining about the plugin. Why don't You explain whats wrong? The plugin has been installed in over 200 WP 1.5 installations and You'r blog is the only one I've heard of that has problems with it.

it's really not that easy. I had a look on your page and believe me if I didn't knew by your post I wouldn't know which language is being used.

I know providing a plugin to other wordpress users means spending a lot of time and I really appreciate your efforts, but let's stay cold blooded.
I'm sure he'll provide some more usefull informations on the usage of your plugin.

Please. Don't missunderstand. I'm not "angry" or "unhappy" here. I know that i'm able to "fix" my language a bit, and if i "came out" to hard; i ask for Your excuse.

In Norway it's normal to have a "selected second foreign lanugage" and almost everybody wants German. English is "forced" and the second languages is (was) German and French.

And. There's a big difference in "learning" german and reading german ;-) I _read_ german quite good but I can't _write_ it.

I'm sorry for mixing-up the languages. I didn't want to offend you. I only saw some skandinavian characters and then I appreciated it could be finnish.

Now to the plugin problem: I wanted to use the plugin for the blogentry you had linked in your first post. But I couldn't handle it, so finally I linked the images manual. I don't know why the plugin doesn't work for my blog. I can activate the plugin without problems. But when I insert the autogallery tag, nothing happens. Is there a debug mode?

I assume it could be a problem with other post-parsing plugins. I have also installed the runPHP plugin and some other plugins. Any ideas byrrekaker?

BTW - I didn't knew that Kirsten Dunst also loves Schnappi

The runPHP - plugin could crash i would think. I cant se why, but i'l try it and fix the problem if any. I'm sorry there's no debug mode.

The gallery-tag works fine in some blogs now, and i cant seem to find anything right now. I'l take a look at it to night.

So one can give more information on the image as the pure name used as "alt" and "title"-attribute.

bei mir will autogallery auch überhaupt nicht laufen.
bisherige vorgehensweise:
- autogallery.php Zeile 17 editiert:

$image_root = "www.spreeban.de/wp-content/pictures/"; // Set this to Your image-root.

- Plugin aktiviert
- Beitrag, in dem

vorkommt, erstellt, um ID zu erhalten
- im Bilder-Ordner "wp-content/pictures/" Ordner "[ID-Nummer]" erstellt
- Bilder nach dem Muster "01.jpg", "150-01.jpg", ... darin abgelegt
> ohne Erfolg :?

Über die Seite des Autors kam ich zu dem Hinweis, in der autogallery.php die Zeile

$searchdir = $_SERVER["DOCUMENT_ROOT"].$filedir;

zu ersetzen mit

$searchdir = "$searchdir/$id/";

> hat aber auch nix gebracht, und so langsam gehen mir die Ideen aus, nachdem ich die Pfadangeben in der autogallery.php schon in allen möglichen Varianten durchprobiert habe...

Hat jemand ne Vorstellung, warum's nicht läuft?

Ich glaube, du musst den Pfad hier relativ zu deinem Root-Verzeichnis angeben, bei mir liegt wordpress zum Beispiel in dem Ordner /wordpress also hab ich als Pfad angegeben /wordpress/wp-images/

Bei dir wäre das dann wohl /wp-content/pictures/

Hier musst du die eckigen Klammern weglassen, also so, dass der Pfad dann z.B. so aussehen würde:
/wp-content/pictures/21/

Den ganzen Rest kannste so lassen, wie er ist, also auch das searchdir-Zeugs.

Eigentlich sollte es nun klappen ;)

Danke, genau da war das Problem. Habe unzählige Varianten ausprobiert, diese ist mir wohl nicht in Sinn gekommen :roll:

die Klammern sollten nur verdeutlichen, dass der Ordner halt mit der entsprechenden ID versehen wurde, zumindest hier hab ich mal nicht gepatzt :wink:

kannste doch selber schreiben...
textdatei anlegen
dateiname.jpg Bildbeschreibung aus vielen wörtern
dateiname2.jpg logischerweise ne andre beschr.
.
.
.

mit file('textdatei'); auslesen
jede zeile in ein array
zerteilen in erstes wort und rest
mit ner for-schleife den jeweiligen Caption-text einfügen...

Hallo!

Ich habe auch ein Problem mit autogallery, liegt aber vielleicht auch daran, dass ich es anders eingesetzt habe, als vorgesehen. Ich möchte die Fotogalerie nicht in einen post, sondern in eine Seite (also page) einbauen. Das klappt auch alles soweit, dass er mir das thumbnail ("thumb-01_tv.jpg") anzeigt. Wenn ich das dann aber anklicke, bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung, dass das verlinkte Bild ("01_tv.jpg") nicht gefunden werden kann. Das liegt aber im selben Ordner wie das thumbnail. Ich kann mir das nicht erklären, das kann doch eigentlich nicht daran liegen, dass ich die autogallery in eine page und nicht in einen post einbaue, oder? Denn das thumbnail kann er ja auch anzeigen...

Weiß jemand Rat?
