Danke ihr zwei für die Tipps. Lieder komme ich damit nicht weiter. Wenn ich den Code so ändere wie Max es sagt, bekomme ich danach eine Fehlermeldung:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /mnt/web5/c1/01/5167401/htdocs/linkfinale/wordpress/wp-content/themes/adventure/index.php on line 76
Und wenn ich es laut infected ändere, erscheint lediglich "newer post" auch in der oberen Box. Ich hätte aber gerne die untere Box komplett weg. Geht das?

ne, nix zu machen, ich schaff es nicht. Die Box bekomme ich zwar leer, aber gibt es eine Möglichkeit, die Box verschwinden zu lassen? Sieht doch blöd aus, so eine leere Box.

ah, in der index.hp habe ich es gefunden und gelöscht. Jetzt steht da noch "admin", und vor allem die zweite Box mit "Newer Post" ............

Wie kommst du auf .nocomments? Ich hatte dir doch eine andere Class genannt.

ich habe der "theme-options.css" aus dem Ordner "/wp-content/themes/adventure" die Zeil hinzugefügt:
.nocomments { display:none; }Aber es ändert sich nichts......:(

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe bisher meine Webseite mit NetObjects erstellt, und bin nun sehr bgeistert, wie schnell das mit Wordpress funktioniert. Leider schaffe ich es jedoch nicht, die Blog-Funktion komplett auszublenden. Die Startseite habe ich als statisch markiert, und alle Kommentarfunktionen abgeschaltet. Nun steht aber immer in meiner Textbox
"by admin and comments are closed."sowie darunter ein zweiter Kasten mit
"older Post"
Besteht die Möglichkeit, dieses auch noch auszublenden, um die Site wie eine ganz normale Website aussehen zu lassen?
Schon mal vielen Dank fürs Lesen und hoffentlich den einen oder anderen Tipp, ich versuche seit Stunden mir selbst zu helfen.
