Bei mir war es nun auch das Theme und es war eins von themepix.com falls es jemanden interessiert.

Hi,
ich hatte ähnliche Probleme auf meinem Blog. Nach dem Update auf 3.5.2 war der Seitenaufruf sehr langsam.
Der Fehler wurde bei mir durch das Plugin "WP-SlimStat" hervorgerufen. Das entsprechende Plugin habe ich deaktiviert und jetzt läuft wieder alles, wie es soll.
Hoffentlich kommt in Kürze ein Update des Plugin, finde es nämlich sehr informativ.

Bei mir war es NewStatPress was zu Verzögerungen bis zum Einschlafen führte. Gefunden habe ich das störende Plugin mit dem Plugin P3 Performance Profiler http://wordpress.org/plugins/p3-profiler/ das bei einem Test die Laufzeit von Plugins zeigt.

Vorsicht vor Bluehost. Die günstigen Preise sind nur für das erste Jahr, dann sind sie eigentlich teuer. Sollte dann das eigene Projekt erfolgreich werden und dementsprechend viel Traffic und Resourchen verbrauchen dann kann folgendes passieren.....

Also ich kann keine Empfehlung für Bluehost abgeben und nur warnen vor Bluehost, dann doch lieber Hostgator.com oder einen guten deutschen Hoster, wie Hosteurope.de oder All-Inkl.com die ebenfalls sehr günstig sind.

Problem gelöst! Peinlich!
Ich Pappnase hatte noch keine statische Seite erstellt. Also wurde das Formular nicht angezeigt. Danke für Eure Hilfeversuche!

versuch nochmal ein manuelles update bzw deaktivuiere mal deine plugins und guck was passiert :)
So, Wordpress neu darüber installiert, Standart Theme und alle Plugins deaktiviert und selbes Verhalten. Ist ja schon kommisch, weil ich habe noch andere Blogs, da habe ich das Fehlverhalten noch nie gesehen. Liegt definitiv an irgend welchen Einstellungen, da auf gleichem Hoster noch 2 andere Blogs ohne Probleme laufen. Jetzt bin ich aber ziemlich ratlos?!

zeigt er bei dir nicht mehr das formualr an oder klappt das speichern einfach nicht?
Hmm, bei mir werden die Felder für die Startseiten Auswahl nicht angezeigt. Nur noch ob beim Feed ganzen Text oder Kurzfassung angezeigt werden soll. Kommisch?!

Was mir heute aufgefallen ist nach meinem letzten Update irgendwie kann man in der Konfiguration unter "lesen" nicht mehr eine Statische Seite als Startseite festlegen. Ist schon dumm wenn man Wordpress als Content Management betreibt und das nicht hinbekommt. Kennt jemand eine Lösung? Danke für Eure Hilfe!
