Ist es denn nach diesem Tutorial so, dass die alte Sidebar (jetzt sidebar-alt.php) gar nicht mehr genutzt wird oder wird irgendwie anders darauf zugegriffen? Ich glaube, ich verstehe noch nicht ganz, was bei dem Austausch eigentlich passiert und was ich hier verkehrt gemacht haben könnte ...

Ich stelle jetzt mal eben den Ausgangszustand vor dem Chaos wieder her, damit man meine Seite wenigstens wieder besuchen kann - das Durcheinander ist ja wahrscheinlich sowieso nicht so aussagekräftig ...

Habe gerade diese tolle Nav-Bar hier gefunden und das Tutorial bei mir angewendet. Leider ist das Ergebnis wenig beeindruckend :-(: http://www.vries-land.de

Nachdem ich das Plugin "ak-subscribe" installiert habe, kann ich im Theme-Editor nichts mehr aktualisieren, bzw. kann mich noch nicht einmal über wp-login einloggen. Das gleiche gilt fürs Editieren von Beiträgen etc. Ich erhalte folgende Fehlermeldung:

Vielen Dank, Monika, für deine Mühe. Inzwischen ist es 2.00 Uhr - ich habe deine Vorschläge beherzigt, leider haben sie bisher nichts gefruchtet. Die Verlinkung über "header" ist doch nicht schlimm, oder? Andersherum funktioniert es nämlich bei mir nicht in Firefox. (und der Tipp von dem Link hat mir alles völlig zerschossen, das musste ich rückgängig machen)

Ich vermute, das Problem hängt irgendwie mit dem Runter- und Rauf setzen von

padding-top: 160px;

in #hnav ul zusammen.

Wenn ich die Zahl runtersetze, rutscht der Header in IE rauf, allerdings nie ganz, sondern nur ein Stück.

Keiner mit einer Idee hierzu?

Mir ist jetzt klar geworden, warum viele Änderungen, die ich in der sidebar.php getätigt haben, überhaupt nichts bewirken konnten. Das lag wohl an dieser Zeile, die - wenn ich es richtig verstehe, die Widget-Option aktiviert und den Rest der sidebar.php deaktiviert:

Wenn das so ist, wie kann ich dann Plugins, die kein Widget mitliefern, trotzdem noch in meine Sidebar installieren? Bei den Installationshinweisen für die einzelnen Plugins steht ja in aller Regel: "Fügen sie ... in die sidebar.php ein". Gerade das hat ja nun aber keine Auswirkungen mehr dank der genannten Zeile.

Hat jemand Ahnung, wie ich trotzdem diese Plugins zum Laufen bringe, ohne auf die Widgets zu verzichten?

"Recent Posts" ist standardmäßig bei Kubrick und auch bei meiner Variante dabeigewesen, sobald man das Widget-Plugin selbst installiert.
