Ich bin der einzige Benutzer und die Benutzerregistrierung ist bei mir deaktiviert. Wenn das Update nur diese Lücke schließt, wäre das für mich also nicht essentiell. Das Problem ist: Das ist ne Bandhomepage und wir bekommen heute einen neuen Song aus dem Studio zurück, der dort veröffentlicht werden soll. Es wäre ein Debakel, wenn ich mir die Seite kurz vorher verkloppe...

Die Frage ist aber, ob das Upgrade so wichtig ist, dass ich Kuddelmuddel riskieren sollte. Ich bin noch recht neu in der Materie und habe einfach Angst mir was zu versauen. Gerade jetzt bin ich auf die Homepage dringend angewiesen und kann mir eigentlich keine Schnitzer erlauben.

Da habe ich mich bisher noch nicht ran getraut. Habe Angst mir die Seite zu zerschießen. Ist zwar alles gesichert, aber mir ist dabei trotzdem mulmig.

Ob es etwas bringt, auf das nächste Update zu warten? Vielleicht geht das ja wieder?

Ich habe exakt das gleiche Problem! Dies ist mein erstes Update, deshalb kann ich ansonsten nichts zur Funktionalität sagen. Wenn ich auf "automatisch aktualisieren" klicke, bekomme ich diese Meldung:

Danke für den Tipp!!! Jetzt ist die Seite auch wieder mit dem IE anschaulich.
IE8 verhaut lediglich noch die Schrift in der Sidebar, aber das mit den Hintergründen stimmt wieder. Im 9er stimmt jetzt hingegen alles!

Den Code hatte ich gelöscht, weil ich den Banner weiter nach oben rücken wollte. Den Tipp dazu, hatte ich irgendwo im Netz gefunden. Es hat mich halt gestört, dass da immer noch ein Platzhalter für den Seitentitel und den Slogan war. Naja, egal! Wäre alleine nicht darauf gekommen, dass es daran lag, also danke!

Ich habe soeben nochmal alle Plugins deaktiviert und den Browsercache gelöscht. Leider ohne Erfolg! Das Problem muss also anderswo liegen. :neutral:

Danke für die Antwort! Ich hatte jetzt alle Plugins deaktiviert, aber das Problem mit dem IE besteht weiterhin.

IE8: Hintergrund im Textbereich wird nicht angezeigt und Fonts sind falsch.
IE9: Zwischen dem Banner/Menü und dem ersten Artikel klafft eine Lücke.

Richtig schlimm ist es also nur mit dem IE8. Das muss doch einen Grund haben, wieso ausgerechnet der IE diese Probleme hat und alle anderen Browser nicht? Wieso sind die Fonts und der mittlere Hintergrund im IE9 richtig, aber im 8er nicht? Wenn ich im 9er auf "Kompatibiliätsansicht" klicke, verschwindet zwar die erwähnte Lücke, dafür stimmen die ganzen Fonts aber wieder nicht. Das mit der Lücke betrifft übrigens nur die dynamische Startseite. Alle anderen Seiten sind ok.

Sehe ich das richtig, dass die Tags im Code geschlossen sind, aber auf der Seite nicht geschlossen dargestellt werden?
Plugins deaktivieren: Puh, damit versaue ich mir doch die ganze Seite und ich bin darauf angewiesen, dass gerade in den nächsten Tagen alles funktioniert. Die Probleme bestehen ja nur mit dem IE. Die pure Verzweiflung... :(:(:(

Das Galerie-Widget wird ja auch zerschossen. Hat das ebenfalls mit den "nicht geschlossenen" Tags zu tun?

Ich bin gerade in der Header.php und finde die beiden Zeilen nicht. Habe mit String+F danach gesucht und selbst nachgeguckt. Sorry, das ist nicht Metier, seid bitte nachsichtig mit mir! :(

Im IE8 ist das Problem sogar noch schlimmer, als im 9er. Da fließt der Background über die komplette Seite und der Hintergrund des Textbereiches wird überhaupt nicht angezeigt. Fonts sind falsch, das Galerie-Widget wird zerschossen usw.
Könnte mir die Haare raufen! Warum ausgerechnet im IE und nicht bei den anderen Browsern?

Ich habe gerade festgestellt, dass der Internet Explorer meine komplette Seite zerschießt. Da ich den nicht benutze, ist mir die Problematik die ganze Zeit entgangen. Mit allen anderen Browsern gibt es keinerlei Probleme. Habe bereits gegoogelt und gelesen, dass es etwas mit nicht geschlossenen Tags zu hätte. Leider kenne ich mich mit der Materie nicht sonderlich gut aus und bin gerade völlig ratlos. Ich wäre euch für Unterstützung wirklich sehr dankbar!!!

Hallo erstmal an die Community!

Ich bräuchte mal eure Hilfe! Wurschtle mich seit zwei Tagen als Anfänger so durch und habe schon einiges umsetzen können, aber momentan kann ich ein Problem einfach nicht lösen und auch die ausführliche Suche im Netz hat mir nicht geholfen.

Wo muss ich das genau einfügen und wie? Per Editor habe ich schon an diversen Stellen versucht das in der Style.css unterzubringen, aber leider erfolglos.
