Jep, Volltreffer. Hatte nach Page ID sortieren lassen, weil ich davon ausgegangen war, dass wenn ich nach ID sortieren lasse, die Seiten entsprechend den vergebenen Nummern, sortiert werden.
Um nach den vergebenen Nummern sortieren zu lassen, muss im Widget aber "Sort by: Page Order" eingestellt sein.

Dann hat sich mein Verdacht also bestätigt. In dem Browser, indem ich die Seite (nicht-eingeloggt) aufgerufen habe, war das Edit auch nicht zu sehen... Manchmal ist die Lösung doch einfacher als man denkt. DANKE! :-)

Habe genau dassselbe Problem - die Seitenrangfolge stimmt nicht. Habe die vorgeschlagene Änderung in der Sidebar übernommen - ohne Erfolg.

Guten Morgen!
Jetzt hat sich doch nochmal ein Problem aufgetan: Und zwar taucht am Ende jeder Page ein "Edit" auf. Nachdem ich sowohl die index.php, als auch die page.php nach einem entsprechenden Eintrag durchsucht und auch gelöscht hatte, schien das Probelm gelöst - allerdings tauchte es, nachdem ich weitere neue Pages hinzugefügt hatte, auf allen Seiten wieder auf.
Hat da jemand vielleicht ne Idee?

Hat super funktioniert! Habe dieselbe Änderung dann auch noch in der home.php vorgenommen - dann wars auf der Startseite auch noch raus. Die Linie ist jetzt auch durchgezogen - die gestrichelte Linie war wahrscheinlich noch so im Cache...

Zuerst: Mein Hauptproblem hat sich in Luft aufgelöst!!!!! :-) Wenn man nur wüsste, dass es so einfach geht...
Ich habe beide vorgeschlagenen Änderungen übernommen - auch die in der single.php - die Funktion Kommenare abzugeben, soll deaktiviert sein (ich will wordpress ja im Prinzip als Homepage "missbrauchen" und die eigentlichen Blogfunktionen ausblenden). ;-)
Die Änderung in der Style.css habe ich auch vorgenommen - die Linie ist allerdings immer noch gestrichelt. Das ist aber nicht so schlimm. Wenn ihr mir noch sagen könnt, wie ich das Datum und den Namen unter der jeweiligen Seitenunterschrift killen kann, bin ich glücklich. :-)

Auch wenn ich jetzt hier Gefahr laufe, mich gleich in meinem ersten Beitrags als Leichenschänder zu privilegieren, denke ich doch, dass mein Anliegen ganz gut hier ins Thema mitreinpasst.
Ähnlich der Threadersteller möchte ich, dass folgende Angaben auf der Startseite und auf allen zukünftig angelegten Seiten nicht mehr auftauchen:

Auf der Startseite ist mir das irgendwie schon gelungen, auf den Seiten, die ich nachträglich angelegt habe (vgl. "Testseite 0815), ist mir das leider nicht gelungen. Vorgegangen bin ich, wie hier im Thread beschrieben. Außerdem würde ich gerne, das Datum + Namensangabe (jeweils unter der Überschrift) dauerhaft entfernen.

Des weiteren - muss aber nicht unbedingt sein, hätte ich gerne, dass die gestrichelte Linie - unter den Seitenüberschriften, sowie unter "NAVIGATION" eine durchgezogene Linie ist. Ist aber nicht so wichtig - vorrangig wäre das oben genannte Problem.
