Einfügen eines Hintergrundbildes neben Sidebar. Aber wie?

Ich bastle gerade am Theme "The Unstandard" herum und möchte das Theme ein wenig anpassen.

Das ist der momentane Blog. Literaturkritik.tv

Die rechte weiße Fläche möchte ich mit einem Bild komplett ausfüllen. Nur weiß ich nicht, wie ich meine Style.css anpassen soll. Ich habe bereits eine Menge ausprobiert, habe aber bisher keine Lösung finden können.

Könnt ihr mir weiterhelfen?

repeat-x horizontale Wiederholung
repeat immer wiederholt
repeat-y verticale Wiederholung

Das klappt leider nicht so wirklich. Füge ich die Bild-URL ein, wird nur die Navigation ausgefüllt. Die rechte Seite bleibt weiß.
