vorab schon mal: Ich habe mit Sicherheit alle Posts, die ich finden konnte durchgelesen und keine Lösung hat mir bisher geholfen.
Das Problem: Der altbekannte "unerwartete Fehler", wenn versucht wird, mit wordpress.org zu verbinden. Ich kann also keine Plugins suchen und installieren und auch keine Plugins nutzen, welche direkt auf Daten aus dem Netz zugreifen.
Installationen funktionieren nur über das manuelle Herunterladen und dann uploaden/installieren.
Viele sagten, der Port 443, welcher für https zuständig ist, war das Problem und nach dem Öffnen soll alles funktioniert haben.
Laut alfahosting (mein Host) ist der Port 443 offen, aber wohl eher nicht nötig, um normale Plugins zu installieren. Ich solle einmal hier nachfragen.
Zusätzlich einige allgemeine Angaben:
Wordpress Version: 4.6.1
Plugins alle deaktiviert --> keine Änderung

Ich habe verschiedene Laptops/Systeme probiert. Das kann ausgeschlossen werden.
