Für WP 1.5.1.2 Benutzer haben wir ein Paket zusammengestellt, das alle geänderten Dateien beinhaltet.

Die folgenden Dateien (zu 1.5.1.2) haben sich geändert:

wp-admin/post.php
wp-includes/functions-post.php
wp-includes/version.php
readme.html
wp-login.php
xmlrpc.php

Es gibt (zu 1.5.1.2) keine Änderungen in der Datenbank.

...und (wie immer) nicht vergessen vor dem Update ein Backup zu machen!!!

Hallo zusammen,

ich wollte mal in die Runde fragen ob irgendwer Lust hat sich an der Aktualisierung und Erweiterung der Doku zu beteiligen...

Wenn sich ein paar Leute finden können wir eine "Wiki-Woche" starten und gemeinsam an der Doku arbeiten.

An der ersten "Wiki-Woche" (vom 18. bis 25. März 2005) haben sich leider nur die "üblichen Verdächtigen" beteiligt!

Es wäre wirklich klasse wenn sich ein paar Leute zusammenfinden würden. WordPress(.de) ist ein Open-Source-Projekt und lebt von der Mitarbeit der Benutzer...

Da musst du nix einrichten, die funktionieren "einfach so" - schau mal in den Quelltext deines Headers...

Du benötigst alle Dateien, ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass winzip irgendwelche Dateien unterschlägt...

Du hast dir das Paket aber hier runtergezogen (?):

Für gewöhnlich sollte ein "entpacken nach" reichen.

...mit winzip kann ich dir nicht weiterhelfen, aber eine Liste aller Dateien die nach dem entpacken vorhanden sein sollten findest du hier:

Den Zeichensatz musst du im Adminbereich einstellen:

Optionen > Lesen >> Zeichensatz für Seiten und Feeds

Wenn du Beiträge unter UTF-8 geschrieben hast und jetzt auf ISO-8859-1 wechselst musst du die Umlaute/Sonderzeichen der alten Beiträge nochmal neu eingeben.

Das musst du in der "style.css" ändern:

..suche nach:

Dort wird die Höhe und die Hintergrundfarbe festgelegt.

WordPress benutzt keinen Cache für die Themes, Smarty kommt bei WP nicht zum Einsatz (bei WPMU schon!). Da seit 1.5 ein neues Themesystem zum Einsatz kommt müsstest du deine alten Layouts entsprechend ummodeln. (s.a. http://wordpress-deutschland.org/upgrade-anleitung/)

Bis zum Release von WordPress 1.6 wird es wohl noch dauern. Da einige signifikante Änderungen zu erwarten sind, wurden Bedenken bezüglich der Kompatibilität geäussert. In der "wp-hackers" Maillist hat Ryan (WP-Entwickler) Bedenken ausgeräumt.

All current tags will be carried forward.

No. Alterations weren't required in 1.5 either. They were needed only
if you wanted to use the theme features.

No. All loop structures ever supported by WP are still supported today
and will be supported in 1.6.

Yes, although there are usually some that break from release to release.
Some plugins did deep into WP internals, which may change. Some plugins
rely on buggy WP behavior to do their work and break when the WP bug is
fixed. So, there will likely be some breakage, but nothing systemic.

I suspect there will be improvements. Improvements are good, right?

Download files, upgrade.php.

The 1.5 theme changes were an exceptional event. However, those changes
were completely optional. 1.2 templates copied into 1.5 work just fine,
you just can't use themes unless you upgrade your templates.

1.5 and 1.6 are going to have some notable differences (otherwise it
would be called 1.5.2). The documentation team needs to decide how they
are going to support both 1.5 and 1.6. Most documentation will apply to
both, but there will be some divergence as features are added to 1.6.

...hmm, wenn sich der User vor dem Ausloggen im Adminbereich befand, kann er ja schlecht dahin zurückgeleitet werden. Umgekehrt will ein User, der sich anmeldet, für gewöhnlich im Backend arbeiten und nicht auf die vorherige Seite zurückgeleitet werden.

In letzter Zeit wurden einige Blogs gehackt, die noch nicht auf die aktuelle Version geupdatet wurden.
