Welche brauchst du denn?

Ich glaube kaum, dass es interne Mittel dafür gibt. Und man könnte es schon programmieren, aber der Weg bzw. die Suche würde zu viel Last verursachen, vor allem auf grösseren Seiten. Daher wäre die Google-Suche am besten.

WPMU ist nicht erforderlich, es reicht auch die normale Wordress-Version, aber dann können die Mitglieder keine eigene Blogs erstellen.

Voraussetzungen sind im Prinzip die gleichen wie für Wordpress, Buddypress ist ja "nur" ein Plugin.

Edit: Ich habe diesen Plugin etwas modifiziert. Der Plugin macht jetzt folgendes. Er sperrt alle Seiten für nicht eingeloggte Besucher bis auf die Startseite, Registrierung und Anmeldung. Wenn der Besucher irgendeine gesperrte Seite aufruft, wird er zu der Anmeldung weitergeleitet.

Erstelle eine Datei, die z.B. privacy.php heisst, kopiere diesen Code dahin und speichere sie, dann einfach nach mu-plugins hochladen.

Warte auf den Privacy Plugin und lass die Community solange offen. Ich würde es so zumindest machen. Alles andere sind nur halbfertige Lösungen und sind eigentlich nur schlechte Workarounds mit wenig Erfolg.

Die Menüpunkte verstecken bringt wenig, man kann die Seiten trotzdem noch erreichen, nur nicht eben durch diese Links, da wäre es komfortabler die ganze Seite zu sperren.

Das horizontale Menü ist doch schon so gebaut, dass es nur "Anmelden" und "Registrieren" für nicht Angemeldete zeigt.

Plugins musst du erstmal aktivieren, im Backend/Dashboard auf Admin - Einstellungen gehen, ganz unten die Plugins aktivieren.

Sprachpaket ist wie beim normalen Wordpress zu installieren, Dateien nach wp-content/languages hochladen, dann im Backend unter Einstellungen - Allgemein unten die Sprache umstellen. Wichtig bei Wordpress Mu, dass es keine aktuelle Sprachdatei gibt, d.h. du musst du Sprachdatei vom normalen Wordpress nehmen. Diese hier: http://wordpress-deutschland.org/download/sprachdatei/

Neue Blogs erstellst du im Backend unter Admin - Blogs, unten steht ein Formular zur Erstellung eines Blogs. Und unter Buddypress kannst du natürlich noch über die Leiste oben einen Blog erstellen.

Um Activity Stream nur eingeloggten Usern zu zeigen, mache folgendes
Kopiere die Datei index.php aus dem Ordner activity im Buddypress-Theme-Ordner in deinen Theme Ordner. Wichtig, kopiere sie dort in einen neuen Ordner "activity", die Verzeichnisstruktur muss ja gleich bleiben.
