So. Habe alle Rechte mal wieder richtig gesetzt.

Die style.css kann ich editieren (mit Schreibrechten); die php-Templates des themes nicht "Diese Datei kann leider nicht bearbeitet werden" :-|.

Habe mal das Forum diesbezüglich durchsucht, die dort angegebenen Ratschläge treffen bei mir aber nicht zu.

Marcus, kannst du mit den Serverangaben etwas anfangen?

Hallo zusammen.

Ich hätte eine Frage bezüglich der Dateirechte, der auf dem Server abgelegten WP-Dateien.
Wie ist die generelle Rechtevoreinstellung? rwxr--r--?

Wir sind mit unserer Seite auf einen neuen Server umgezogen. Danach haben sich, im gegensatz zu vorher, einige Probleme eingestellt.
Im Editor (unter Themes) können keine Dateien angepasst werden (keinZugriff); NextgenGallery kann keine Alben (Ordner) anlegen, keine Bilder hochladen. Nachdem ich dann an verschiedenen Ordnern die Berechtigung auf 777 umgestellt habe, ging es wenigstens teilweise. Der Editor funzt abe immer noch nicht.
Mittlerweile habe ich soviel an den Rechten verstellt, dass ich gerne wissen würde was notwendig ist und was nicht.
Desweiteren ist auf dem Server "PHPsafemod = on". Kann ja nur der Hoster einstellen.
Wie gefährlich ist es, wenn die Rechte auf einem Ordner oder Datei auf 777 stehen?

Ich habe es bewußt auskommentiert, weil ich ja die Tabellen nicht immer zentiert haben will. Sie sollen halt so positioniert werden, wie ich es im Beitrag vorgebe.
Wie gesagt, beim IE 6 und 7 wird die Tabelle richtig angezeigt, nur nicht beim Firefox.

Habe die beiden Einträge hinzugefügt. Brachte aber nicht den Erfolg. Außerdem stimmt dann beim Öffnen der Seite mit dem IE nix mehr. Die wurde vorher richtig angezeigt (hab ich vergessen anzugeben). Normalerweise ist es doch eher umgekehrt. Bei Firefox stimmt's und beim IE gibts Probleme.

Habe noch folgenden Eintrag in der style.css.php gefungen:

Eine Frage habe ich aber doch noch.

Ich habe auf unserer Seite eine Tabelle (mit Daten :)) bei der die Formatierungen richtig angezeit werden. Nur wenn ich die Tabelle mittig ausrichte, wird sie linksbündig angezeigt. Richte ich sie rechtsbündig aus, wird sie auch rechtsbündig angezeigt. Habe diesbezüglich mal die style.css.php durchsucht aber nichts gefunden.
Hättest du da noch einen Tip.

Habe die Tabelle weggelassen und die Bilder und den Text direkt formartiert.
Nun steht der Text neben dem Bild (was ich nicht will) und ist, wie ich will, zentriert. Jedoch sind die Bilder immer noch linksbündig.

Hallo zusammen.

Ich bin neu hier im Forum und arbeite seite ca. 5 Wochen mit WP für die Erstellung unserer Vereinshompage (was auch eigentlich ganz gut funktioniert). Jedoch habe ich ein Problem mit der Formatierung, besonders von Tabellen. Ich bin ein HTML-Anfänger und arbeite zu 75% mit der graphischen Oberfläche des TinyMCE. Ich benutze, um Bilder und Text auf der Site zu positionieren, Tabellen (align left, middle etc.). Der TinyMCE zeigt mir auch alles richtig an, jedoch später auf der Website ist alles immer linksbündig.
Kann mir da jemand helfen.

Habe die Suchfunktionen benutzt aber irgendwie nix passendes gefunden (manchmal hängt es auch an der Eingabe der richtigen Suchbegriffe :confused:).
